Our clients, referred to us by another Buyers Agent to were eager to move into the Inner West. Looking for a neat & tidy home that they could entertain in. Aware they had a tight budget to get into the market, it was a no-brainer to our clients they engage our services for a competitive edge.
Being receptive to our feedback around budget and brief in the first few weeks of their search, we opened their brief to townhouses & houses. Our relationship with agents benefitted us as we were able to ascertain that owners expectations exceeded our clients budget and avoid us from investing emotionally and financially on 3 properties shortlisted. We attempted to buy a property at auction however were unsuccessful. Whilst we may have been able to stretch, our client didn’t feel it was worth stretching for. We continued our search and on Week 5, a semi-attached house was presented to us that was within budget and brief.
On Tuesday, we attended the inspection and inside the inspection our client whispered “Get it for us”. Challenge accepted. Our clients felt this was the right property worth stretching for. We completed & satisfied all our due diligence and after 2 days of intense negotiations, we were able to exchange on Thursday.
