The client
Our client is an ex pat who was referred to us from our financial planner. Living overseas made searching difficult & it was recommended that he engage our services. As an investor, it was important to find a property that had good rental yield and he would be able to add value with a renovation.
The Journey
For a number of weeks, we exhausted the entire Eastern Suburbs. Going into extensive research to ensure that the numbers stacked up from an investment point of view and we would be purchasing into a sound complex, we ruled out more units then we recommended BUT with our persistence and clients trust, it paid off.
The Negotiation
Not only did we have to factor in time difference, we had to navigate when our client would be available whilst in transit between continents. The relationship & communication with not only the agent but also the conveyancer was paramount in this deal coming together.
The Success
We secured the unit that has a great yield in a highly sought-after area, well below our clients budget and below vendors expectations.
